Birthday Campaign 2026 "Moguharu Origin" Is Here!

October 23 is Moguharu’s birthday.

You have taken Moguharu along on outings and travels, into the little moments of your everyday life, and shared those moments with us through photos and videos. Every time we see your posts on social media, the whole Moguharu team is truly encouraged. Thank you so much for always taking such good care of Moguharu.

To express our gratitude, we are holding the birthday campaign “Moguharu Origin.”
Post photos and videos with your Moguharu on social media, collect points, and welcome home the “Original Moguharu”—the plush toy where Moguharu began. We look forward to your participation!

　Campaign overview　

The first six participants to reach 30 points
will receive the “Original Moguharu”

Campaign period: Friday, October 23, 2026 – Saturday, January 23, 2027, 11:59 PM (Japan Standard Time, UTC+9)

Follow the official Moguharu account, then post photos or videos with your Moguharu on Instagram or X using our official hashtag to earn 1 point per day.
Of those who reach 30 points, the first six participants will each receive one “Original Moguharu.”
Participants who reach 30 points but are not among the first six will receive a commemorative gift. We look forward to your participation!

　What is the Original Moguharu？　

The very first Moguharu plush (Mini Moguharu_01), born on October 23, 2020—Moguharu’s birthday. It is no longer sold in our store.
Each of the six plushes (A–F) has a slightly different expression. The six recipients will be invited to choose their Original Moguharu in the order they reach 30 points. Each person can choose from those still available.

　How points work　

The Moguharu team checks posts with the official hashtag and records points. Photo skill and content make no difference, so please feel free to join in.

• Each eligible post earns 1 point.
• You can earn up to 1 point per day (a day runs from 0:00 to 23:59 Japan Standard Time). Posting multiple times on the same day still earns 1 point.
• Everyone starts at 0 points. The goal is 30 points.
• Points are recorded per account. Points on Instagram and X are not combined.
• When you reach 30 points, letting us know by DM to the official Moguharu account on the platform you posted on will help us confirm things smoothly (optional). The order is determined by the date and time of the post that earned your 30th point, not by the time of your DM.

■Eligible posts

Eligible: Photos or videos showing a “Mini Moguharu Ball Chain_01” or “Mini Moguharu_02” that you own

• Photos and videos taken or posted before the campaign may earn a point the first time they are posted during the campaign, provided all other participation requirements are met.
• Photos with Big Moguharu are eligible as long as your own Moguharu also appears.

Not eligible:

• Posts from accounts that do not follow the official Moguharu account
• Posts showing only Moguharu on display in a store, or only Moguharu belonging to Big Moguharu
• Fan art and AI-generated images
• Stories and posts shared using a platform’s repost or share function
• Posts from private (locked) accounts
• Re-uploads of photos or videos already posted during the campaign, including cropped or edited versions and still images taken from those videos
• Posts made outside the campaign period, and deleted posts

 

　Important notes　

■Contact and delivery

• The Moguharu team will contact the recipients of an Original Moguharu or a commemorative gift by DM on the platform they used to participate (Instagram or X). Please make sure your settings allow you to receive DMs.
• Recipients will be invited to choose their Original Moguharu in the order they reach 30 points. When it is your turn, the Moguharu team will send you a DM listing those still available. Please reply with your preferred letter (A–F) within 5 days of that DM. If you miss this deadline, your turn to choose will pass to the next person. If you reply after the deadline, we will let you know which ones are still available once the person currently choosing has made their choice.
• Please provide the information needed for delivery, such as your preferred delivery method and address, within 14 days of our first DM inviting you to receive an Original Moguharu. This 14-day deadline remains the same even if you miss the 5-day deadline for choosing. If we do not receive the required information by then, we will treat this as a withdrawal and offer the Original Moguharu to the next person in line.
• Participants who receive the Original Moguharu through this move-up process will receive it instead of the commemorative gift (you will not receive both).
• You may choose to receive your item either in person from the Moguharu team or by mail (international deliveries are by mail only). For in-person handover, we will let you know the date, time, and place when we contact you. The Moguharu team will cover shipping costs. For international deliveries, any customs duties, import taxes, or similar charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
• Commemorative gifts are scheduled to be shipped in February 2027 or later.
• If you are a minor, we will ask for your parent’s or guardian’s consent before asking for your delivery address.
• We kindly ask that you do not resell the Original Moguharu you welcome home. If you ever decide to part with it, please let us know—the Moguharu team will gladly and carefully take it back.

■About points

• Posts deleted during the campaign period will not count toward points. Deletions after your delivery has been confirmed will not affect anything.
• Even if the same person places among the first six with multiple accounts, only one Original Moguharu will be delivered.
• We will check that you follow the official Moguharu account when we confirm that you have reached 30 points. If you are not following the account at that time, you will not be eligible to receive an Original Moguharu or a commemorative gift. Please continue following the account even after you reach 30 points.

■Beware of impersonation

• The Moguharu team will contact you only from the official Moguharu accounts listed above.
• We will never ask you to make a payment or to enter card details or passwords on an external website. Please be careful of suspicious DMs.

■Other

• This campaign is not sponsored by or affiliated with Instagram, X, or their operating companies.
• If the details of this campaign need to change due to unavoidable circumstances, we will announce it on this page.

■Personal information

We will use the personal information you provide for delivery, such as your name and address, only to arrange delivery for this campaign and handle related communications and inquiries. We will take appropriate measures to protect this information.

We will not share it with third parties without your consent, except with delivery providers and customs authorities as necessary for delivery and customs clearance, or as required by law.

 

　Q&A　

Q: Can I join partway through the campaign？
A: Yes, you can join at any time during the campaign period. Since it takes at least 30 days to reach 30 points, if you start posting by Friday, December 25, 2026, you can reach 30 points within the period by posting every day.

Q: How is the order determined？
A: The order is determined by the date and time (Japan Standard Time) of the valid post that earned your 30th point, earliest first. Even if participants reach 30 points on the same day, the one whose post was made earlier comes first. The order is not based on when the Moguharu team checked your post.

Q: What happens if I am not among the first six？
A: Participants who reach 30 points during the campaign but are not among the final six recipients of an Original Moguharu will receive a commemorative gift. Participants who receive the Original Moguharu through the move-up process will receive it instead of the commemorative gift (you will not receive both). Commemorative gifts are scheduled to be shipped in February 2027 or later.

Q: Can I participate on both Instagram and X？
A: Yes, you can. However, points are recorded per account and are not combined. Even if you place among the first six on both accounts, only one Original Moguharu will be delivered.

Q: Are there any age or nationality restrictions？
A: There are no age or nationality restrictions. We also deliver internationally (by mail only). If you are a minor, please obtain your parent’s or guardian’s consent before participating.

Q: Can I participate with a Moguharu I bought after the campaign started？
A: Yes, you can. As long as it is a “Mini Moguharu Ball Chain_01” or “Mini Moguharu_02,” it does not matter when you welcomed it home.

Q: Can I earn another point by editing and re-uploading a photo or video I have already posted during the campaign？
A: Re-uploads of photos or videos you have already posted during the campaign, including cropped or edited versions and still images taken from those videos, will not earn points.

Q: Can I participate with a private (locked) account？
A: Posts from private accounts cannot be seen by the Moguharu team, so they will not earn points. Please keep your account public during the campaign period.

Q: Can I check my current point total？
A: We are unable to respond to inquiries about individual point totals. Please use the number of days you have posted as a guide.
